When packing for The Rental Show, don’t forget your “ABCs.”

This year, The Rental Show is returning to Orlando, Fla., for the first time since 2010. Before you check out all the show and Orlando have to offer, make sure your travel plans will get you there at the right time.

Events & Tents begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, so if you’re planning to attend Events & Tents, you’ll need to arrive on Friday, Feb. 7. You’ll need your badge to attend, so registration will be open at the North-South building of the Orange County Convention Center between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Friday, and starting at 7 a.m. on Saturday.

To attend The Rental Show seminars, which begin on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 8 a.m., you’ll need to arrive on Saturday, Feb. 8. A badge is required for admittance, so stop by Registration between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, or Sunday morning starting at 7 a.m.

Monday’s keynote session begins at 8 a.m., so if you’re planning to go to the keynote, plan to arrive on Sunday, Feb. 9. All attendees with a full registration and all exhibitors are invited to attend the keynote, and you will need your badge to enter. Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Monday.

The trade show floor will open at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, following the keynote.

If you’re flying in and checking luggage, plan to spend some time at baggage claim, as Orlando International Airport is the busiest airport in the state with all major airlines and discount carriers supported. The airport is located about 13 miles from the Orange County Convention Center. Depending on the hotel you’re staying at, how busy the airport is and the amount of traffic, it can take 20 to 30 min. to reach the show hotels from the airport.

If you rent a car, remember that there are tolls between the airport and show hotels, as well as the surrounding area. For taxis, expect to pay $35 to $45 to get to the convention center or show hotels from the airport. Taxi fares from the convention center to various Orlando destinations include $34 to Epcot/Disney; $15 to Universal Studios Resort and $8 to SeaWorld® Orlando.

Once you arrive, the following hotels are within walking distance of the convention center: Clarion Inn and Suites Orlando Hawaiian, Days Inn Orlando Convention Center, Hilton Orlando Convention Center and the Rosen Centre Hotel. Shuttle buses will be available from all other show hotels to the North-South building of the convention center. Shuttle service will be provided from all show hotels for the Events & Tents reception on Saturday and Tuesday, Feb. 11, for the evening event, ARA’s Big Splash at SeaWorld®.
