Orlando, Fla., is one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations, with a wide variety of attractions, dining and entertainment districts, nightlife, shopping and more.

The city continues to evolve and expand, offering a potentially different experience for visitors as The Rental Show returns to Orlando for the first time since 2010.

Orlando offers an extensive array of fine-dining establishments, international eateries, casual cafés and wine bars for just about any taste or budget. The city’s dining and entertainment districts include the Convention Area, Restaurant Row, Winter Park, Downtown, Universal CityWalk® and Disney/Lake Buena Vista.

The nightlife scene also includes dozens of dance clubs, bars, restaurants and live music venues, including The House of Blues in Downtown Disney® and Hard Rock Live at Universal CityWalk®. The Blue Man Group and La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil® also offer regular performances.

Shopping options include the Mall at Millenia, boutiques on Park Avenue in Winter Park and outlet centers featuring internationally known brands, all within driving distance of the Orange County Convention Center.

There are 19 destination spas located at convention hotels, offering traditional services to sports recovery and group outings.

Orlando recently was named the North American Golf Destination of the Year by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators. There are an estimated 176 golf courses in the area, including the Rees Jones-designed, 18-hole championship golf course shared by the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf Astoria Orlando.

New attractions include Antarctica: Empire of the Penguins at SeaWorld® Orlando, and Transformers: The Ride –3 D and a new themed Springfield area — home to “The Simpsons” — at Universal Orlando Resort.

In addition, Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom has expanded the new Fantasyland area, there is a new Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and The World of Chima is new at Legoland Florida.
